2009 Boys Soccer Try-outs Try-outs for boys soccer for all grades will be held on Wednesday, August 12th at Horner Park from 7:30am-11. All players must wear soccer cleats, shin guards, and bring plenty of water. The try-out will most likely extend into Thursday and possibly Friday. The times for the 2nd and 3rd days are TBA. Varsity Girls Soccer Team Advances to City Championship Final!!! The Lane Tech varsity girls soccer team advanced to the final after a 3-0 win over Northside Prep. Goals were scored by Gaby Loera, Mia Spingola, and Rebecca Volkman to seal the victory. Lane will play Payton for the championship at North Park University at 7pm on Thursday, May 14. Boys Varsity Soccer wins 2008 Chicago Public League Tournament Championship Congratulations to the 2008 boys soccer team who defeated Kelly HS in an overtime shootout to take home the city title! Greg Gaczol made 3 saves in the shootout to preserve the win for Lane. Boys Sophomore Soccer wins 2008 Sophomore CPL Tournament Championship The 2008 sophomore boys soccer team defeated Kelly HS 2-1. Congrats city champs!!! |
